Can I get into Acer Aspire One with no password set?

I got an Acer Aspire One 532h in August 2010. At initial startup it went straight to the password log in screen, instead of a welcome screen. No Windows password has been set. The Password Hint is "New Computer". I neglected to seek any warranty support. Is there a way to get into Windows, since a password has never been set? It"s been locked at the password log in screen since first turned on. I assume D2D recovery is the solution, but I figured I'd ask first. Also, if D2D recovery is used, can I still make backup recovery CDs afterwords?

                                                                Thanks,

D2D recovery restores the system to the initial factory state, so yes, you could create recovery media after doing so.
