Since you mentioned "Intel HD Graphics," you have the standard integrated 'onboard' video. Integrated is nothing like an actual 'card' that you can swap out like memory. Even a lot of notebooks with fancy dual GPUs are both graphic processors soldered onto the board ergo they are all 'onboard'. As far as I know, intergrated GPUs are even certain motherboard specific and can't be mixed around. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm afraid you're stuck with what you have.
