Which of the following methods would I use to update my BIOS, DOS or Windows? My netbook runs XP. Current BIOS is 1.13 and unit is a AOD250-1151.

DOS: Run "KAV60.BAT" batch file to flash BIOS in pure DOS environment.
Windows: Run "KAV60129.exe" to flash BIOS in Windows W7 HP x86 environment.

Hi Tim,

Don't warry, Go to the Acer Drivers & Downloads and Select your O/S ( Eg. Windows XP 32 bit) then download the BIOS version that you want to update. After that Run it on Windows XP .

* If you need to run it on Pure DOS mode, You need a DOS bootable Flash drive or CD which contain the perticular BIOS FILES in it. Please give me your feed back.
