Few days ago my 3 year old Aspire one AO532h stopped taking charge from the AC adaptor.

It would run on battery but the battery itself won't accept any charge (plugged in, not charging) and if I take the battery out, the computer turns off.

I tried it with 2 different adaptors and 2 different batteries, same result.

I can only suspect it's a hardware issue, but I welcome any troubleshooting advice you may have.

In my opinion the power jack has failed in the notebook, if you use YouTube I'm sure you will find a video which explains how to change the power jack ( it's not to hard)... Have fun
