I have an Aspire One series netbook and cannot get it powered on.  Attempting to fix the problem, I tried a power reset which failed to work.  Is there anything else I can try?  Am I correct in assuming it should go on with it being plugged in, even though the battery could be dead?

Did you check the power adaptor ? What is the respond when you connect power adptor to the netbook?

We got it to work by removing the battery and powering it on with it plugged in.  Then we put the battery back in, and it continued to work.  This is the first time I've had any trouble with my netbook, and apparently the problem has been rectified.
