Hey I recently purchased an Aspire V3-571-7363 from Amazon for £450. It has an i7 3632QM, 4GB Ram, 500GB HDD, built in graphics, and a dvd drive..
Anyway getting to the point. I want to know what the maximum amount of memory I can install into this, since I have read many pages saying 16gb, and some say 8gb, even the crucial scanner says 8gb. I have opened it up and can only see 2 slots, so I would think its only 8GB max. However on Belarc advisor it says there are 4 slots?
So what really is the max memory to be installed into this, I believe its 8GB, but if i can replace the current 4gb and put 2 8gb sticks in, that would be great! But I'm not even sure if that's possible and I dont want to waste money buying the extra ram for it to be useless.
Can someone tell me what is the max please, I'm totally confused.. oh and one last thing, If I installed an SSD into the DVD drive by replacing the drive with a caddy, would that void my warranty?
Thanks in advance ![]()

It probably depends on the country but... you probably alredy voided your warranty by opening the laptop. If not - you have to give your laptop in authorised service for any upgrades you want to make. They will tell you if it's possible to upgrade it to 16GB. I have V3-571 and I bought it upgraded. It was an option in the buy menu - 6 (base)/8/16gb
