Hi I recently purchased the Aspire S7. Today the live update window popped up saying there was a bios update available. I went ahead and let it update (i figured it knew what it was doing) and immediately after restarting, I am getting the following error message: No bootable device--Please restart system, which I have done only to end up with the same message. I do not see anything else, no bios setup results or anything. I tried reinstalling windows 8 from a flash drive but it doesn't doesn't apparently see the flash drive anymore either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No bootable device mean that the hard disk boot sector has been damaged and you will need to reinstall windows from the start. And you will lose all your data..if you want to save some of your stuff take hdd out and connect it to other working pc through usb interface(you will need to buy the cable)
