Does Acer plan to fix the WiFi issue on Aspire S7? this is a big issue. it is shamefulness if we compare this S7 with a cheap laptop which is never have problem with Wifi disconnection.

There is a solution already which is to update the wireless driver for those models released before 2013. It is unfortunate that Acer has to deal with this problem, even though the fault is with the Atheros Wireless Card and Atheros has concurred in resolving the fault. Its not only Acer S7, but other vendors, HP, Dell and Sony as far as I know, there are also experiencing same issues with their machines released with that particular wireless card. The machines released in 2013 with that wireless card will have the newer driver pre-installed and therefore the problem will not there for a software fault on these cards.
