Hi all, I just got a new Netbook AO725 with Win8. My problem is when I first started the computer it gave me an error saying that Windows 8 setup was interrupted and to start setup again. I click "OK" and the computer restarts and it all repeats itself. Keep in my this is the first time using the computer, so I have not gotten past that. Any suggestions?

Sounds like there is an issue with the image, have u tried the ALT+F10 or F12 during the Acer logo in startup? That should take you to the recovery console, from there you may be able to do a "full restore", thus replacing the failing image load.

If that doesnt help I'd probably contact the store for a replacement.

I can not install windows 8 on my AO725 is say irql not less or equal .My windows 8 image is 100 % ok .i install same image on other laptop and PC .I think the problem in bios .But windows 8 all beta (consumer preview , release preview ) working no problem .Can any one tell what is the solution of this problem

solves the problem. The error is caused by an incompatibility of the Atheros Wifi card installed in the affected Acer models with the default driver that comes with Windows 8. Removing the card during install, updating the Atheros W-Lan driver via a download from another computer once Windows 8 is running, then replacing the card and rebooting twice is the fix.

Hey, can anyone help me. I have a aspire one acer and I have tried to use the erase viruses from it through the programs on here but when it was finished and time to restart my computer it got stuck on  a black screen that says Sarting Setup Services and an erroe message that says i have to reinstall Windows- but my computer already had Windows. Could anyone please help me!!!!!!
