I am having problems with wireless connection dropping on a regular basis.
I tried the latest Intel driver 16.1.1 and that made things worse in that it would say unrecognised network, and only rebooting my Superhub would bring it back. I am now back to Version 15.10.0.12 Microsoft Driver Date 25/06/13 after a system restore.
This definitely started after the Windows 8.1 update.
I have tried the Intel website driver detect utility but that says my driver is current.
Can you tell me if there is a specific driver for Windows 8.1 for my Intel Centrino Wireless N105 card please, or any help with this would be much appreciated.

All released drivers are available on our Drivers page.
There does not appear to be a new Intel wireless driver for Windows 8.1.
If you are having issues under Windows 8.1, it is always possible to use recovery to return the system to the shipping factory operating system.

Not acceptable Tommy. We need the Intel wireless driver for Windows 8.1. Is there nothing Acer can do to hurry that along? It's inconveniencing a lot of people.

I've just managed to update my intel wireless on my Acer E1-571 from the Intel site where they have a new driver waiting for those having problems.
