Aspire 7741zg doesn't turn on

Hello,

My Aspire 7741 doesn't turn on anymore.

-If it is connected to AC power and the battery is unplugged, no LED glows.

-If it is connected to AC power and the battery is present, the battery indicator is lit.

The battery seems ok because the indicator went from orange to blue after charging.

I removed the battery and unplugged the power cord then held the power button for 1 minute. This unfortunately had no effect once all reconnected.

The CMOS battery was removed for 5 min for a possible reset.

It sounds like the motherboard gone bad. You may check with the manufacturer for help.
