I see that new active pen for the r7-572 model is sold separatly. But I wonder if it also works properly for the older r7-571 model. When you go to the accessories category on the acer store site, there's the active pen and it says it's related to r7-571 model. But on the compatibility section it says it's compatible with r7-572. Of course it must with the new r7-572 model. But is it same for the 571 model?

No, it is not the same at all. Completly dif and not compatible (maybe you can draw only without the new fearures and not all software compability)
