Last year after some research I bought a acer tablet A100. I already had a acer notebook that I liked and it was good.
I bought the A100 tablet 7 inches and paid for it $259.99 plus tax at Best Buy.
The tablet worked very well for 1 year and 3 months.
Then the warranty ended and suddenly my tablet started to have what looks like some touch screen problems. Crazily and automatically opened and accessed all programs, as if all the keys were pressed.
I tried the button reset, the factory reset, and anything worked. Now it is stucked on the initial settings, language setting.
I contacted the customer service by email on 5/19/2013, and they only answered me that the product was out of warranty, and the cost to fix whatever were the problem is $199. Which is almost the price for a new one.
A outside technician told me that other customers were complaining about the same problem and it could be a software problem.
I am feeling deceived by Acer!!
Should I trust on Acer again?? Does my problem can be fixed??

Yes, the problem can be fixed. However, it would need to be sent in for service.
I am not aware of a software fix for a touchscreen issue.
