Acer's New Chrome Book - Chrome OS and Battery Replacement?

Just saw an ad and specs for the new Acer Chromebook, using Google's Chrome OS. How does it compare to the apps, including Adobe Flash Player, Open Office and Vuze downloads? Also, if the battery lasts 4 hours, how much does a replacement battery cost and is it available at the same stores that sell the Chromebook?

Re: Acer's New Chrome Book - Chrome OS and Battery Replacement?

The chrome OS will run Adobe Flash. I am not sure if there are downloads for open office, or Vuze. You would need to contact Google, or the makers of that software, to see if it is supported. In regards to the battery, you can order a replacement battery at http://store.acer.com. The part number for the battery in our store is AK.004BT.098.
