So i got my first acer 2 weeks ago. everything was good connecting to various wifis when a week later in just stops. my sister who has the same model, but got her's a few months ago, does not have this problem. she tried to fixed mine by downloading the most recent drivers (ver. 16.0.5.3) it worked for two or three days. then yesterday it suddenly started dropping again. everything is up-to-date. so what do i do? if there are no solutions....or if this problem persists, i'll probably just return the laptop as i don't have time to waste trying various fixes.

hi....
Since you have already updated the drivers, you may install the latest BIOS update to fix the issue with your computer.
Here's the weblink http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/
Dawnload and execute the application file in the folder.

Also experiencing the same issues.
Drivers all updated.
Took the advice of downloading and installing BIOS update as well as a previous version of the Wireless LAN 16.0.5.3 as a previous post had suggested.
I have never had a problem with two other wireless networks until I came to my mom's house where after 30 seconds it will kick me off the internet unless I continuously reset the router, but will still only work for 30 seconds. No other computers or wireless devices in this house run into this problem.
