This Acer Aspire laptop won't come on at all. When I plug the AC adapter in the wall the green light on the adapter comes on but when I plug the adapter into my laptop it goes off. If it is plugged into my laptop already when I plug the adapter into the wall the light on the adapter won't come on. So I thought there must be something in the laptop to make the ac adapter shut off or the ac adapter has a safety shut off for itself. I bet someone out there can give me a starting place.
Take the battery out and repeat what you've already done.
It could also be the power board in the system.
