Hello together,

I'm running Windows8 on my Travelm8 which ai bough two weeks ago.

I installed an SSD and using the 750GB in an SATA to USB3 Case.

All works fine for a few hours..but then when I try to access the HDD it wont react anymore.

If I for exmaple try to save a file from the browser to the HDD it will throw a message "Timout for that semaphore is expired". Accessing the HDD via the WIndows explorer will take about 30/60  seconds to open it and I can just see the root files of the that parition ..if I try to acces a folder it will throw  "Timout for that semaphore is expired".

I already baught a new SATA to USB3 Case to ensure that is working fine...must be another issue.

I removed UEFI by enabling Legacy BIOS..if this is a relevant info.

I also removed the system/backup partitions of the 750GB HDD and reformatted and reparitioned it.

All driveers should be installed. Took them from the acer drivers pages.

Any help is highly appreciated.
