Hi,

Whilst using my acer Notebook, if the angle of the screen is adjusted (pushed back, or brought forward) or the notebook moved slightly, or put down on the couch, the display goes just about completely dark (although image can just about still be seen). Only option is to re-boot the notebook. This seems to be an intermittent fault. I have checked all devices are ok in action centre, and device drivers are up to date.

Please can anyone help with this issue.

I have only had the device around 9 months, and I am otherwise very pleased with it.

It sounds like a bad connection on your monitor cable. It is possible that liquid got in there some time ago and now you have corroded contacts.Since you are under warranty, I would take it to a service center.
