Acer Iconia W700P adaptive brightness dark screen?

Hello,

I have the feature enabled, but unfortunately now the screen is always too dark.

In sunlight, this sensor provides up to full brightness. Is a better driver available?

I installed all drivers from the Acer support website.
The driver, of the HID sensor is from Microsoft at 2009.

The "HID sensor collection" is listed under Human Interface Devices (HID) and so uses an older Microsoft driver. There is nothing wrong with the installation of the driver.

We do not have an updated driver available.

What can I do to fix this "to dark screen" issue? Can the automatic control be restricted?

Under PC Settings -> General, you can set "Adjust my screen brightness automatically" to "off".

Ok :-) i can disable this feature, but there isn't a fix to solve this issue ^^
