Hi, I had my Acer aspire s3-391 for the last 4 months.

I upgraded to Windows 8 a month ago, and noticed the wake-up times were much slower since then. 

They used to be really quick (2-3 seconds) but now are about 10 seconds.

Do you guys know what could have caused this. If so, can you help me fix it?

Install both these

1. Driver: IRST (Intel® Rapid Start Technology) Driver

2. Application: Device Fast-Lane Application

I have the acer aspire m5-581t and the system, W8, has the Intel Rapid Start Technology and Acer Device Fast-Lane installed. But, when I go the the Program File(x86)\Inter\Intel(R) RapidStorage Technology. there is one and only one folder named "uninstall" The Acer Device Fast-Lane works, but it shows control of the Wireless & Networks only.
