Hey folks, upgrading my GF's Acer so it has a better chance of handling sims city 5.
Got a low profile HD6670 2gb GPU, was going to look at the ram too.
Hers has 2GB of PC10600 (1333mhz) at the moment, I was going to replace it with 8GB of better stuff. I was wondering what the model of mobo is in this PC and if it supports PC12800 (1600mhz) stuff? Several sites selling RAM where you pick the model of PC you have seem to come with 1333 or 1600mhz stuff as compatible choices, but I'd like to be sure.
cheers for any info guys

Hi mate, I have the same pc, and have simcity which my pc had trouble handling the game....
Ram wont really improve performance gaming wise, 4GB is adequate.
The motherboard itself is ok, i had the GPU ati hd radeon 5570, which was like watching slow motion, I bought a radeon 7750 and it worked like a charm, bought from pc world for 79.99...
Ram you would need is DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM...
dont know if that helps....
