I want to install a SSD (Crucial 256 gb) in my Acer Aspire X1420. Can I keep my current hard drive as a slave? If so, then what type of bracket should I use for the SSD. I purchased a standard 2.5 conversion bracket, but it's too big to fit in the case. There's only a small space in front of the hard drive where I could try to put the SSD. Is there a "low profile" bracket that I should purchase? Or is the case too small to fit the 2 hard drives? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It appears that I can use some tape or velco to mount the drive and need a sata power cord splitter to power it. Also, there are only 2 sata ports on the motherboard, and I plan on using both to connect the SSD and HDD. How can I connect the DVD drive? (DVD drive is currently using one of the sata cables.) Can I run a cable from the PCI-E slot to the DVD? Or is there some other way to do it that will yield better performance?
