Acer Aspire V3-551 Power Button Issue

More of an annoyance than anything else, but this may be a precursor to further problems.

Every once and a while, the power button on the laptop will not work. It just does nothing.

However, if I unplug the power supply, and push the power button it works fine and I just plug the power supply back in.

This happens may once every week or two.

Any thought on the cause or resolution?

It sounds like you may have an issue with the AC power connector or the power board.
