My Acer Aspire M5640 came with preprogrammed Window Vista already loaded, no discs of program cane with computer.
Now I am getting an error message that My copy of Windows vista is not valid and I must activate a valid copy?
How can I resolve this issue without buying a new Windows program?

Have you changed the motherboard? If not, you need to use the recovery media for reinstalling the operating system along with the drivers and applications. You check the availability of the recovery CDs from the link : https://store.acer.com/store?Action=DisplayDataVal

Yes a new motherboard was installed by ACER several years ago, but this problem appeared within the last month.
Please not I cannot access the recovery media due to the fact that I get the following error message when I enter the SNID on my computer: No RCD available for the entered Serial Number.
HELP!

Try a system restore to a previous date when the unit was working fine. LINK : http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2
If this fails means, you need to perform a full system recovery. Link : http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2
