My daughter has an Acer5733Z lap top. Computer worked fine last night but this morning, computer won't power up (with or without power supply). When I click the power button, the power light comes on for all of 2 seconds and goes out. Don't hear anything inside the computer trying to boot up. I have recovery discs but as the system won't power up, can't even open the CD-Rom to insert CD's.
Of note: I have already tried the "take your battery out, remove power supply out, hold power button 60 sec, put power supply back in, etc..." but this does not work.
My daughter cannot live without her laptop and we don't have the money for a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BIOS corruption remove CMOS battery and draine residual energy and remove the battery before doing that
that is 50-50 chance that your pc might fix but less chance
