MY COMPUTER LOST THE DVD DRIVE DRIVERS IT DOWSENT LIST ANYTHING BUT MY C DRIVE NOW HOW DO I FIX THIS IS THERE A PLACE TO REDOWNLOAD THESE DRIVERS IT WSAYS ERROR 19 AND ITS A STDVDRAWGT51N PLEASE HELP

I am having the same issue with my AO255D. I try to fix it through window Fix it then and it worked. But now I am still try to get help from the internet.

Likely a plug and play driver, I don't think you'll find it on the Acer website (though I didn't check). And doesn't the Aspire One not have a disc drive? Anyhow, this is usually caused by a Windows issue. I would suggest simply doing a recovery to eliminate any possible Windows errors and see if that helps. If you have files that you don't want to lose or if it's too much of a hassle you can always go into your bios and see if the device is recognized. I think you might even be able to test it by pressing F12 on startup (boot menu) and seeing if the drive is listed. If it is then the drive is recognized by your laptop, just not windows. If it's not listed, your drive is dead.
