Bought an acer iconia a500 tab and inspite of it still being on warranty, was forced to cough up over $100 for the repairs. Same was done and now, my warranty expired a couple of days before the original issue i.e tablet not starting or booting, occured yet again. No alteration, modding or rooting was done on the tablet and I am of the opinion that the problem is a hardware issue as gathered from various internet forums visited. The tablet just refused touch and was booted down and up again and that is the bwginning of my calamity. Tried various ways to bring said tablet back to life but always met a bricked wall. Realy tired and this issue has now made me think twice about purchasing any acer products now and in the near future. Any chance of getting my CPUID from the Manufacturer as that is the only means at my disposal of bringing said tablet in order, without the need of paying again for the one and same repairs?

I would contact Acer to see if they may be able to help you on the issue.
