A510 wifi Issue

Every time my tablet is restarted the wifi goes out and it's a pain in the ***** to try and get it on again. In the past after restarting it a billion times and uninstalling a few app's... it will miraculously come back on. Not that any of that was the direct reason it came back on, but it made me feel like I was doing something!!

ANYway, this last time WIFI is not turning on period. I've done two factory resets and it doesn't even connect in the beginning, so I can't even connect to google.

The exact message I'm getting is, "Turning Wi-Fi on..." but the wifi on button remains in the off position.

Anyone esle have this issue?? Any fix for it?????

My W510 never acted that way, sounds like a mechanical defect, not software.

Have you tried a USB WiFi like an enGenius ?

I didn't know this tablet was capable of having an external wifi device... I'll look into that, thanks!

The A510 should have a USB connection, the question is whether there is a driver in the Android (Linux) kernel you have. The closest I found was this.

My mistake, I thought you were asking about a W510 and that is easy.
