Acer Aspire AO756. I'm assuming there are Acer Tech Support people who service this forum. I have an HDD password which I put in. I know what it is and the machine works fine. I would like to remove it, however, in Bios the hdd password option is greyed out with the word "frozen" next to it. Short of taking the machine out of service and sending it to an Acer service center (it's still under warranty and registered with Acer), is there some way to fix this situation, is there a utility which will allow me to do it? Again, I know the password and it works fine.
