hi,

I have purchased a new laptop but don't know how to make a partition of hard drive.

control panel-->system and security-->create and format hard disk partitions(under "administrative tools")

right click "Acer( c: )" partition, then click "shrink volume"

By Default Acer would ship out the computer with one partition.

You need to make the proper calculations while shrinking the partition ..
