When I plug in a internat cablein to my computer, I get a blue screen of death. The wireless is gone and I can not restore it with out internet connection.

I forgot to mention: I have a Aspire 5100. I was running internet on my wireless thru my cable modem. I can not see the wireless any more. So I was going to reinstall wireless andto do that I needed to connect a cable from the modem to the Acer 5100. The second I pluged the cable in I get the BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death)
