Please help with pairing bluetooth mouse with Acer Aspire Windows 8 touch laptop

SYSTEM INFO: Acer Aspire V5-571P-6815 running Windows 8 (has touch screen).

Have exhausted FAQs on support site, downloaded and installed the Bluetooth wizard app, and two chat sessions later and some non-functional advice later, I am still stumped. This same bluetooth mouse paired (with no problem) on my Acer netbook (running Windows 7).

Have you tried using the bluetooth pairing utility? I recommend following the instructions posted at http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/19301. If that does not resolve your issue, I would recommend you contact Acer technical support.
