My Aspire 5253 Broadcom 802.11N adapter will not connect to my D-link DIR-600 wireless router. It was working but the next day when I booted up it would not connect. It shows up in my taskbar with 5 green bar but when I try to connect it says windows cannot connect. I am running Win7 Pro64, no new programs added or removed. I have downloaded the proper driver and reloaded it, devise manager says it is working.

Is the D-link router working in single band (2.4 GHz) or dual band (5.0 GHz) mode? The WiFi adapter in the 5253 operates in single band N only.

It is only a 2.4 single band router. The Acer was working OK then just stopped. Checking everything I can thru Win 7/64/pro I find nothing wrong. My old XP desktop wireless works fine.
