My old hard-drive died. So I installed a new hard-drive. Then I installed Windows 8. Installation seemed to go ok. I am even able to access the internet. However, I cannot run some web pages, or softwares. So I continued with the Windows 8 updates. 10 critical updates it said. so I commenced to install them all, but at the end of the process, it comes up with "updates failed, reverting to original state". What do I do? I wonder if the graphics cards aren't powerfull enough?

Did you make sure that your computer is compatable with Windows 8? A lot of the older computers are not.
