Hi

If you flip the machine over you should be able to identify a couple of screws (dont know how many, but typically between 1 and 4) with an ODD icon/mark (three discs on top of each other).

Undo these screws and then open your optical drive while the pc is turned off and without battery by inserting a pin in the small hole on the front of it. Once it pops out gently try to pull it out using the bay as your handle. If it's still stuck, look for more screws.

Notice that when you remove it you will probably get it and it's dock bay, the dock bay you need to remove and use on a new replacement.

hope this helps!

Had a look, there is no icon on any of the screws. I have attched a pic of the base and circled the only screw I know is to do with the drive. I tried removing alll the screwa but the drive still won't pull out.

Any ideas?
