Just got a second hand Extensa 5630, old drive missing, I put a new drive 1 tera bytes and a win Vista 64 bit system disc in the disc drive, but would not start after a several try, somehow the system try to look for backup but does not use the disc system and I try different (alt f10) or f2 and many others but nothing so far work. I read somewhere that it can not work without the backup disc? And somehow don't ask me why the screen is very dark and I can hardly see what happen, i try fn with> but look like I need the sys for that to work... Need to know what to do badly, was suppose to be a Christmas present for a small boy first laptop... Just wonder what to do to start this bugger!
