I have an older Aspire M5800 Desktop supplied with Windows 7 Home Premium. I was literally playing I-Tunes on this system when I made the upgrade to Windows 8 Pro. Since then I have been unable to get any sound out of the system. According to the system diagnostics everything is alive and well.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

It does not appear that we have any Windows 8 drivers posted for this system. All drivers for this system are posted to http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers. You may try checking with Realtek to see if they offer a windows 8 driver for your audio chipset.
