Acer S3 951 - the wireless network adapter's performance is really bad once updated to Windows 8. I can only see 2-3 networks whereas I would have been able to see close to 20 if the notebook was running under Windows 7. Even if I can connect, it constantly disconnects.

I've tried installing the new drivers from here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=3966

but it does not help.

Please adise!

I'm sorry that you're having issues with the perceived performance after upgrading to Windows 8.

Are you having issues connecting to a specific network that you are near?

I can only suggest that if you prefer the performance of the hardware under Windows 7, that you reinstall that OS.
