My computer turns on, beeps one continuous beep and the screen stays black and wont turn off.

and the lights stay blue they dont flash or anything

That to me sounds like the memory is not installed correctly or there's a memory error.

How long have you had the unit, memory can fail after a while.

Have you changed any parts out lately or moved the unit, it may need to have the memory reseated.
