I recently inherited a 721-3574 netbook and it had a slow old hdd in it. After a quick inspection of the rear cover, I saw the extra mini-pci-e slot and promptly ordered a SSD mSata for it. When it came in today, I was amazed to discover that where there is the available slot, there IS NOT A SOCKET THERE!?! Is that something that I can add in, or was that just for the 3G module version of the 721?!?

With a large number of configurations, there are differences in the units.
Unfortunately, if there is not a connector on the board, there is no way for you to add one to that board.
