有兩顆HDD在integrated RAID Module RMS3CC080上做RAID1,有一顆FAIL後,如何做Rebuilt?

有兩顆HDD,在integrated RAID Module RMS3CC080 做RAID1,沒有hot Spare

但當我們抽掉一顆HDD並將該顆HDD再放回系統中,RAID並不會自動做Rebuilt.

在RAID Utility中看到該顆HDD被視為 (Foreign) Unconfigured Good

發生此狀況時,請放入一顆全新的HDD或是未被建置過RAID的HDD

或者是將該顆HDD放到其他有RAID的系統去,將其清除乾淨後,再放回這台系統

這樣子,系統就會自動Rebuilt

如果你只是重新插拔原本在系統上的HDD,那RAID 會將該HDD當做“Foreign"

這樣子的話,你必需依以下步驟去將該HDD回復成RAID成員

a. Please launch the RAID utility.

b. Right click the HDD marked as “(Foreign) Unconfigured Good” and select Replace Missing

Drive.

c. Click “OK” at pop up Windows, the drive will become “Offline”

d. Right click the HDD marked as Offline and select Start Rebuild
