ANS: AR180 F1 support three interface modes for BMC connection.
• Failover (Default): If this is selected, BMC will be connected to both dedicated server management port
and onboard gigabit LAN_1 port. If a connection fails, BMC connection will switch to the other.
Dedicate: If this is selected, BMC will be connected to the dedicated server management port only.
Share: If this is selected, BMC will be connected to onboard gigabit LAN_1 port.
5.如何設定BMC使用的IP?
ANS: Please enter BIOS Setup during POST.
a. Please select Server Management.
b. Select System Information.
c. You would see information below.
IP Address Source [Static]
IP Address [010.036.060.100]
Subnet Mask [255.255.255.000]
Gateway Address [010.036.060.001]
d. Please specify the IP address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway Address.
e. Please save the settings and exit from BIOS Setup.
6.BMC可以跟作業系統使用相同的IP嗎?
ANS: No. Please do not use the same IP address for BMC and operating system.
