TriDef Ignition -- How does TriDef 3D Ignition work？

PC games which use Microsoft's DirectX graphics system already contain all the information needed to produce high quality 3D images. The TriDef 3D Ignition game driver provides a communication interface between the game and the DirectX graphics engine. The game itself does not need to include support for 3D. When the game draws graphics using DirectX, TriDef 3D Ignition translates this into a 3D format suitable for the display.
