Is there any chance of upgrading E1-571 from HD to FHD screen.

Hi,

Could someone please tell me that I can upgrade my E1-571 to a FHD screen, my MH77 chipset supports dual channel LVDS, I am not sure whether the original cable supports dual channel as the current screen is 1Channel 6Bit.

My system:

S/N: NXM09EK002

Current screen: B156XW02 v6           1366x768

    Hi brummyfan2,

     

    I've checked and this LVDS cable is only used with HD models but no FHD models (others than E1-571). May be I can find informations with the P/N of the motherboard. Could you give me it (e.g. by using HWiNFO)?

    Thanks for the response, I got these from HWinfo:

    Brand Name: Acer Q5WV1

    Motherboard Model: Acer Type2 Board Product Name1

    Motherboard Chipset: Intel HM77(Panther Point)

    You'll be able to find the part number of your motherboard like this:

    Launch HWiNFO> Expand Motherboard> Expand SMBIOS DMI> Click on Mainboard> Give me the first ten characters of Mainboard Serial Number located in the left column. Thanks.

    I'm sorry Laurent, I find it difficult to find the number you are asking for, only S/N number I could find is the one I gave in my initial post which is NXM09EK002. However, I have attached the snip of HWiNFo page below.

    I found this number near the RAM, will that be any good?
