Hi there,

I am unable to find any of my (enabled) bluetooth devices when I tried to 'add a device' in win10 settings, devices.

I have a bluetooth driver installed and it is said to be uptodate.

I have tried FN-F3 but to no avail.

Please advise,

Edennehy

The first thing I would try is, download the latest driver from http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

Go to Control Panel/Programs and Features and uninstall BT. Reboot and install the downloaded driver.

Thanks  - the bluesoleil Generic BT driver is said to be up-to-date. I tried to see if there was a compatabilty problem with win10 but no info appeared in properties on this subject.

  • I guess you didn't do it.

Unless the Atheros BT uses the bluesoleil Generic BT driver", you don't have the Acer BT driver installed.

    Hi Philetus,

The bluesoleil driver does not appear in control panel - programs. I tried to uninstall it in device manager - it keeps coming reappearing...I cannot install any of the drivers on the acer site - I go through the phases and then nothing..nothing in control panel/device manager..

    I got it!!!!

I found the option to uninstall from Driver Booster 3.5 and it worked.

Then I was able to install the new drivers.

    Thank you philetus!
