do you need it as additional storage or you need to boot windows 7 in it?

Disconnect the Vista HDD and connect the 7 HDD.enter BIOS and check if the HDD is recognised, then you need to enter the boot menu and set the HDD to be the first bootable device.
Save and exit, let the system boot.

    Hi again:

    I installed the W7 HDD and the 1st boot device (cd/dvdSmiley Tonguem-hl-dt-st)

    2nd boot deviceSmiley SadUSB:generic-compa)

The BIOS DID NOT detect the W7 HDD so what would be my next step (IF ANY)That i can take to try and salvage the W7 OS ?

Or perhaps salvage the Hard drive itself since it's a 1TB hdd?

    try one thing:

disconnect the DVD and use the same cable to connect the win 7 HDD, boot to BIOS and check if it's recognised.

if not...i'm not sure this HDD is working, even if it's spinning; try it on another PC.

If 2 PC can't recognise fhe HDD probably it has a hardware issue.
