after searching a while i found out that explorer.exe isnt running on windows task manager

then i use the safe mode boot by running msconfig.exe through windows task manager

i still cant use F8 to go on safe mode

then i refresh the system and all start go normal

but i have to re install some programs

there are some method that told me to just copy the explorer.exe

but i havent tried it yet

maybe it can solved it without refreshing the system

    thanks for your reply

    now the problem is solved

    ctr+alt+del

open task manager, click on "file/run new task", write "cmd" (without quote)

    inside the CMD write "sfc/scannow"

wait until it finish, reboot and see if balck screen issue is gone.

    the scan result is

windows resource protectionfound corrupt file but was unable to fix some of them. details are included in the CBS.log Wndir\Logs\CBS\CBS.Log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.Log. Note that logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios.

after i reboot it, the sampe problem still occur

are there any steps that i missed?

    thankyou for your reply

you did it right but "unable to fix" is not a good message.

i would try again the sfc/scannow and see if this time it fixes the error.

Can you try to start on F8 mode under windows?

as on the post above open a CMD but with administrative privileges (tick the option)

on CMD write "bcdedit /set bootmenupolicy Legacy" press enter

close CMD and power off your PC

at power one press F8 and try to boot on safety mode and see if black screen still appear.

to revert to standard bootmenupolicy, just type "standard" instead of "legacy"

    i did the cmd

but i dont know when to pres the F8

    it just booted normally

CMD already stated the boot succesfully changed

should i press F8 before the acer logo and the little ball start spinning?

You need to press F8 and tapping just after the boot logo and before the spinning circle.

    Hello,

you can try this, to fix the corrupted files:

Again open the "cmd" with administrative privileges.

On CMD write:  dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth   (you can copy and paste it from here) and press "enter"

    The scan may take long.

After that, run " sfc /scannow" again.

    regards

I had the same problem after installing the latest Acer Portal update. Your solution was perfect and allowed me to perform a system restore. Everything is peachy now :-)
