Acer Aspire One with a Linux operating system

Is there any way to get an update or support for an Aspire One (Model AOA 150) that came with a Linux operating system? The built-in Live Update function always gives "Error 22 - Update server is busy now" (or perhaps no longer exists?). The Acer web site support page only shows Windows XP support for this model. Did Acer drop support for its Linux models only a few years after selling them?

I'm afraid you will get little or no support from acer on this one. A perusal of these pages will indicate how poorly their support function operates. I've run Linux on the very same machine for years, except I never ran the acer version which was always problemmatical. Download Ubuntu 12.04 or 12.10 and create a usb boot stick using unetbootin and use that to install Ubuntu Linux. Works a treat.
