You can use Google Drive files offline when your Chromebook isn't connected to the internet. This feature will also work on the web or app-based versions of Google Drive, across multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android). Use the instructions below to allow your google drive files to be used when offline.
- Click on the Time in the lower right corner.
- Select the Settings⚙ icon.
- In the left menu, click on Advanced then select Files.
- On the right side, click on Google Drive in the files section.
- Click on the toggle to enable File Sync.
