Glue was applied during manufacturing to bond the bezel and LCD cover in several places. If a repair technician finds white super glue residue inside of the LCD assembly, please do not assume it was applied by the end user. It was most likely part of product manufacturing SOP.
If an LCD or LCD cable needs to be replaced, reusing the original plastic parts may result in LCD assembly with gaps. It may be necessary to replace the LCD bezel and LCD cover to get the plastics to firmly snap together.
If the new spare parts do not snap together firmly, please contact engineering. Engineering can attempt the super glue bonding process defined by the manufacturer.
